HCG is a familiar human chemical that shows up when a woman is pregnant. Some fertility treatments include HCG because it is something that the body can respond to. The diet plan that involves HCG is based on the theory that besides fertility, HCG can also play a big role in weight loss.

Many experts have now deemed the HCG solution as a fraud. How is it a fraud? According to experts, the FDA included, the expensive HCG solution that users are forced to buy as a part of the diet plan is not the main reason why the diet works for most of those that try it. Therefore, the food planning may well be the only relevant thing to consider if you want to try the structure of the HCG diet, sans the solution that you are being required to buy.

If you’re considering the HCG diet for your weight loss, then you probably should know that at some point you will be required to consume only 500 calories. This is during the phase two, or the stage wherein you are required to eat a high fat diet initially, then drop to the 500 calorie diet at the end of the phase. But you’re not going to stay on 500 calories forever, as stage 3 of the HCG diet would require you to eat 1500 calories on a daily basis.

Now, you’re probably thinking, what can I eat to reduce the calorie intake to 500 and 1500? There are a lot of HCG Diet Recipes floating around and here are some of them…

Some recipes go at less than 300 calories, like the Chicken Baked in Garlic recipe:

Take 100 g lean chicken meat and place on a bed of semi-cooked onions for baking. Onions should be chopped and sauteed without oil in a non-stick dish. Place 3-5 cloves of unpeeled garlic around the chicken, sprinkle the chicken with the juice from half a lemon and black peppers. Bake in 350 degrees pre-heated oven.

Another recipe that involves baking is the beef recipe:

Crush a piece of toast into 100 grams of lean ground beef. Add a tablespoon chopped onions. Mince one clove of garlic and add it in. Add Cayenne pepper to taste. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, basting with low calorie ketchup (optional).
