What are celebrity diets? Some diets are included in a special category called Hollywood diet or celebrity diet. Don’t be confused. These diets were not developed by celebrities themselves. Instead, these are well-thought out plans created by expert nutritionists and body builders for overweight and obese individuals to lose as much weight as possible in the shortest amount of time. It just so happened that these diets are defined and often named after the top celebrities that allegedly used them.

Here are some examples of these celebrity diets.

1. The 5-Factor Diet

Think five! A-lister physical trainer Harley Pasternak developed the five factor diet which would last for five weeks. The diet plan involves consumption of five small meals every single day. Each meal, however, must follow a structure. The meal should always contain five ingredients including protein, carbohydrates, fiber source, a no-sugar drink and good fats. There are also workout plans that a user must complete for 25 minutes five times a week. The good part is that the user can have one day per week to eat anything. The celebrities that purportedly used this diet include Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Eva Mendez and Jessica Simpson.

2. Maple Syrup Diet

This is better known as the Lemonade Diet. Some know this to be the master cleanse diet. What does it involve? It involves a specific drink that you should create from scratch every day. The recipe is very specific, and allows no substitution of ingredients. Stanley Burroughs came up with the idea of using a cleansing solution to keep the digestive area free of toxins and ready for this particular diet plan. The weight loss strategy is relatively difficult because the user must drink only the lemonade solution for approximately 10 days. Many users can’t take the no-solid food clause involved in this diet, but some people persist. Beyonce Knowles was supposedly using this diet to get thinner. Ashanti was also reported as a user of this diet.

3. Dr Joshi Holistic Detox Diet

Detox has become the main term for diets that include toxin flushing from the body. The main core of a detox diet involves a solution that has to be taken for a certain duration. This 21-day detox diet, in particular, has a food list for the products that can and cannot be eaten. Some foodstuff to avoid include red meat, dairy products, sugar-rich fruits, some bread products, nuts and alcohol. The user also has to drink two litres of water every day and chewing thoroughly before swallowing any food. Some very thin celebrities that have allegedly used this diet are Gwyneth Paltrow, Cate Blanchett and Kate Moss.
